Kirby Hall is the headquarters of the Norfolk Family History Society, situated in Norwich at 70 St. Giles Street, Norwich, NR2 1LS.
Access to the Library is FREE to the general public and is staffed by Volunteers who are happy to assist visitors with their research.
The Library contains a large selection of genealogical resources for the family historian including genealogy books, directories, parish register transcripts, monumental inscriptions, family trees and pedigrees, village information and much more.
There are numerous books, periodicals and magazines, films, fiche and CDs.
The Library is well equipped with computers and offers free access to the internet including the library editions of Ancestry, The Genealogist, and FindMyPast giving access to their worldwide records as well as to our own online database of Norfolk records (NORS). NORS provides a searchable database of Norfolk records including Parish Register transcriptions, Memorial Inscriptions and Family Trees.
