Kirby Hall Library is the headquarters of the Norfolk Family History Society, situated in Norwich at 70 St. Giles Street, Norwich, NR2 1LS.

It's FREE to the public and is staffed by Volunteers who are happy to assist Visitors with their research.

The Library contains a large selection of genealogical resources for the family historian including

  • Parish register transcripts,
  • Monumental inscriptions, 
  • Family trees & pedigrees,
  • Norwich, Town and village information,
  • Manorial Documents
  • Books ad articles on the History of Norfolk
  • Films, Fiche, Maps and CDs
  • Family History Magazines.

It's well equipped with Computers that offer free access to the Internet including Ancestry, Findmypast, TheGenealogist, and of course our own NORS system.

Members and the public are reminded that the library resources are for reference only and cannot be borrowed.
